Replacing your countertops is one of the fastest ways to dramatically increase your home's value, but the construction process can feel daunting. At Alexander Counterwrights, our mission as a women-owned business is to bring exceptional communication and precision to every job site on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Because we handle everything in-house, we control the timeline. Here is a step-by-step guide to our white-glove installation process.
Step 1: Precision Digital Templating
Once your base cabinets are fully installed and leveled, our team arrives for templating. We use advanced laser technology to create a 3D digital map of your kitchen. This captures every architectural nuance, wall curve, and sink cutout location. Because we use lasers instead of traditional wood templates, the final fit is flawless.
Step 2: In-House Fabrication
Your digital template is sent directly to our Pascagoula fabrication shop. Here, our craftsmen use state-of-the-art machinery to cut, shape, and polish your chosen slab—whether it is Cambria Quartz, Dekton, or natural granite. By cutting it locally, we ensure strict quality control.
Step 3: Preparation & Protection
On installation day, our white-glove team arrives. We do not just rip out old material; we treat your home with respect.
We lay down protective mats on your floors.
We ensure clear pathways to avoid bumping walls.
We confirm all sink and faucet placements before bringing the heavy stone inside.
Step 4: The White-Glove Installation
The stone is carefully maneuvered into place. If your layout requires seams, our installers use specialized vacuum-suction tools to pull the pieces tightly together, using custom-tinted epoxy to make the seam virtually invisible. Finally, the stone is cleaned, and (if natural stone) professionally sealed. We leave your kitchen spotless and ready for the plumber.
