Phenomenal experience using a remnant and having it cut in a fairly complicated curves to replace a broken piece of granite on the top of wood piece of furniture. Price was better than competition that I shopped. Very friendly staff who were very responsive to questions. I would advise asking turn around times to final product installation when shopping since I didn't ask this question, the timing wasn't volunteered when initially purchasing, and the timing was longer than I assumed it would be.......so don't assume. They are a quality business and hence busy. I would use them again in a heart beat. Remanent choices were priced equally and were plentiful also if you are looking at a small project.

Alexander Countertops LLC exceeded my expectations and made the countertops of my dreams absolutely beautiful! My fiancé and I approached Chris and his team with a challenge to restore white marble from the late 1800’s. The marble was salvaged from the old St. Charles Ave hotel in New Orleans, La after the hotel burned down. The Slabs were stored in a very leaky, weathered barn and were not in the best shape. Honestly they didn’t even look white when AC received them and I was pretty discouraged that they would turn out. Chris and his team could not have done a better job. The counters turned out bright white and he was able to remove the chips and rough edges to where they looked practically brand new. The craftsmanship of the work, the turn around time and the customer service was absolutely superb! I highly recommend Alexander Countertops! Thank you so much for making my kitchen so beautiful!

Do quartz countertops need to be sealed?
No. Unlike natural stone, quartz is a non-porous engineered surface made with natural quartz crystals and advanced resins. It never requires sealing, making it highly stain-resistant, anti-microbial, and virtually maintenance-free.
Can I put hot pots and pans directly on my quartz countertops?
We strongly recommend always using a trivet or hot pad. While high-quality quartz—like our American-made Cambria slabs—is heat-resistant, a sudden, extreme temperature change from a hot pan can cause thermal shock, potentially cracking the surface or discoloring the resin.
How do I clean my quartz countertops for daily use?
A soft microfiber cloth with warm water and a mild dish soap is all you need. Avoid abrasive scrubbers (like steel wool) and harsh chemical cleaners (like bleach, window cleaners, or acidic solvents), as they can permanently dull the polished finish over time.
